Ianto tried to wrap his mind around all the contradictory facets of Jack Harkness' personality. He had known the team leader, the perpetual flirt, the hard-bitten soldier, the vengeful murderer, and the cold-blooded bastard. He had suspected the amorous and kinky lover. But never in a million years would he have imagined the giggly schoolgirl.
Take now, for instance. Jack was only a few centimeters shorter than Ianto. Ianto could quite comfortably bend his neck down and kiss him. There was no reason for Jack to come up on his toes, especially considering how heavy his boots were. Jack didn't need to kick his left leg out behind him and hang from his hands off Ianto's neck, leaning his chest into Ianto's chest. Ianto felt compelled to wrap his arms around Jack's waist and hips and press him close just to help the poor man balance. There were more dignified ways to share a morning pre-work snog in the Hub.
Still, few were more enjoyable.
The alarm let them know that at least one of their co-workers had just walked in the front door. Ianto sighed into Jack's mouth in disappointment.
"We could tell them?" Jack mumbled hopefully.
"Not yet."
"Yeah, but picture the looks on their faces!"
"S'tempting, but no. We'll see how long it takes our crack team of investigators to figure out what's going on right under their noses."
The main lift started.
"M'kay." Jack came down on his heels without breaking contact with Ianto's lips. He smoothed his hands around Ianto's neck and rested the palms on Ianto's chest, fingertips lightly brushing the seam of his jacket. Punctuating each word with a kiss he said. "You. Stop. First."
They kissed hungrily as the lift descended. Ianto moved his own hands across Jack's chest, slid his thumbs under the braces and ground into Jack's nipples. Jack gasped, and Ianto pressed the advantage to nip at Jack's tongue. Jack soothed his tongue by rubbing it over Ianto's teeth.
The lift reached the bottom.
Just as the vault began to open Ianto raised his head. Jack jumped lightly backward, and Ianto snapped the braces with his thumbs right over Jack's nipples. Jack fought to keep the wince off his face.
"Very good, sir. Would you like cream with that?"
Jack barely managed to get out a normal-sounding, "No thank you, Ianto." The look he shot Ianto as he walked by promised retaliation later. Ianto serenely turned to the task of preparing the morning coffee. Jack had all day to plan his retribution, although that look suggested that a spanking was high on the list. Or perhaps something more imaginative.
Ianto trusted it would be worth the wait.

I like the playfulness of this - Torchwood fluff is always fun, it's far too easy to get sucked into dark, dark and more dark. (fun as that is in its own way...) Nicely done!
