WTF LJ?

I just tried to post and got this:

Request Too Large

The "POST" request is too large for the internal work buffer:

The internal work buffer size is 2000 bytes.
The "POST" request size is 3231 bytes.



How the Hell am I supposed to write anything useful in 2000 bytes?  This ain't goddam Twitter!

Bytes? I've had it growl at me before about number of words/characters, but never bytes. This must be a temporary glitch, to do with all the recent problems they've been having. You may have tried to post during a maintenance period. Possibly if you try again later it will work?

There'll be lots of grumbling if they really are imposing new post size limits. It's hard enough for people who like to post fic as it is!
