I also wanted to add that crabbylioness states over and over again that DHS has no right, under state law, to investigate the homeschooling of the children. That's wrong. While homeschooling is apparently not regulated in Mississippi, if DHS is investigating neglect of the children, they have every right to investigate whether or not said neglect includes educational neglect.
