U.N.I.T. and Torchwood

Speaking of "U.N.I.T. dating", what about U.N.I.T. and Torchwood dating? I'm sure they had to have met in the field, argued about boundaries, saved each other's lives, helped each other out, practiced some one-upmanship, gone out for a drink, traded tips and war stories, found a room somewhere, and practiced some more one-upmanship.

As a big UNIT fan (*ahem*, dig the hat in the icon) I must admit that several permutations of what you propose has already crossed my mind - but not Jack/Lethbridge-Stewart slash... I just ain't seeing the subtext there.

Now, a couple of them other UNIT lads, meanwhile... ;)

After all, Blake knew about Torchwood, and wasn't supposed to know about Torchwood.

Um, Jack, and that gal from Torchwood London, who introduced the Doctor to the Torchwood Institute. You know Yvonne Hartman had Jack.
