I was being sarcastic, though perhaps I should curb my tongue--or keyboard, in this case. I've seen much, much worse stuff than Lucas'.
As for seeing a competant remake, I'm more optimistic about that being possible since the re-imagined Galactica came out, but I'm not holding my breath.
