Review: Doctor Who Dreamland
Dec. 21st, 2009 12:24 pmA drinking game that special should come with its own set of commemorative glasses. If I'd taken a sip of something alcoholic everytime the Doctor would have been shot dead by the Army if they actually followed Army proceedures I would have been too plastered to watch most of it. That would have been an improvement.
Yes, I know it was just a kiddie show, but even The New Adventures of Johnny Quest cartoons they ripped off did a better job of both telling the story and making fun of the X-Files.
Not to mention they got the actual Roswell facts wrong.
And then there's the eyeball-gauging art to consider -- eww!
After it was over, dh asked, "Who directed that? I want to know so I never have to watch anything else he does again." My own feelings were not quite that strong, but I cheated. I got up and left before it was over.
