Help LJ users!

I'm having the devil's own time posting and editing posts on my account. Most of the time the post window wil only come up in HTMS, no rich-text. If the initial window does come up in rich-text, I'll lose that option when I try to edit it. My posts take dozens of edits. It's driving me insane! And its the reason I haven't posted anything lately, because I give up and quit before I get anything finished. What's going on?



ETA: Yes, I know where the tabs are supposed to be. No, they are not there. And I had to add the stupid break HTML manually!
