I too tend to think of the great actress of Hollywood's Golden Era such as Greer Garson (Mrs. Miniver- a must-see!)and Bette Davis (Dark Victory; Now, Voyager- both a must-see!!)

I've seen them, that's why Garson & Davis came to mind. Also, their on-screen characters had so much more guts & backbone; poor Marilyn got stuck with the '50s fluffhead roles.

Even though you can't give away specific Ianto plots in series 2, are you able to tell us which episodes Ianto has his most significant roles in?

The episodes in general are a lot more shared this year and there are very few that concentrate on specific characters. But in episode ten, the P.J.Hammond one, Ianto's the one most affected by what goes on. It's very spooky and I like that, it's one of my favourite episodes. Another significant one is the twelfth one, the one next to last, when you see a key part of Ianto's past.

Take another look at the wonderful clip just as Ianto is kissing Jack in the last instant his hand is reach towards Jack's face. AWWW!!
Really can't wait for the fun to start and seeing these two together.

Can't vouch that it's Jack in what really appears to be Jack's coat there, but I can't imagine anyone else borrowing it and snuggling Ianto.

For some reason (and I have no real empirical evidence for this) I am thinking Ianto is sitting in Jack's lap here. Wishful thinking probably. ;)
