The Zygon Indifference

Well, that was irksome.  In addition to the other numerous problems with the script, no Isis metaphor has a chance of working if it doesn't capture the petulant outraged entitlement of the majority of the recruits.  "It's not fair" doesn't come close.  Capaldi, Coleman, and the other actors did their best with onion-skin material.

It was excruciatingly unsubtle. And awful writing. And a running-about-and-shouting-a-lot episode, which I personally bar. Not that Capaldi seems capable of anything other than shouting. Not a very extensive palette. And an utterly unconvincing supposed attachment to Clara.

Thinking back to the peak episodes of Eleven and Ten, this show has fallen off a cliff.
