I'm convinced it's Jack hugging him - in fact, with this lighter image, I can almost see hair texture from the person he's hugging. What with the wool fabric, who else can it be?

Even though you can't give away specific Ianto plots in series 2, are you able to tell us which episodes Ianto has his most significant roles in?
The episodes in general are a lot more shared this year and there are very few that concentrate on specific characters. But in episode ten, the P.J.Hammond one, Ianto's the one most affected by what goes on. It's very spooky and I like that, it's one of my favourite episodes. Another significant one is the twelfth one, the one next to last, when you see a key part of Ianto's past.
also did anyone else see the clip in the trailer where Jack is standing and he is crying..I think he is in the hub?
Take another look at the wonderful clip just as Ianto is kissing Jack in the last instant his hand is reach towards Jack's face. AWWW!! Really can't wait for the fun to start and seeing these two together. I really love the both of them.
Awww Poor Ianto!!! ::sniffles:: Well if we find out that no one is hugging him, then I say we start a queue to hug him from this episode!!! Cause he looks like he could do with one!:)

Also, I have it on very good authority that this scene is from episode 5, unless they've changed the order of the episodes since filming (very unlikely I'd say).
