Pictures of James Marsters in TW S2 01

I've been asked to upload the James Marsters filming pics for Torchwood S2 01.

First the promo. I think Maxx enlarged and uploaded this one. I've lightened and brightened it a tad to show more detail.

The photographers of the Water Tower photos have asked me to crop out their names.  I would like to thank them for all they have done.  I've also taken the opportunity to lighten and brighten the photos as well.

That's not Gareth with them, but one of the production crew.

Gareth was also there, and walked over for a closeup.

My oh my do those pictures look nice~

Can anyone tell exactly what period the uniform is from?

The coat is Napoleonic cavalry. The jeans and undershirt are modern. The sword is Japanese, and I bet the gun is 51st Century. No idea about the boots.

Hm! So he's not just another "Oh look, someone shaggable fell through the Rift!" guest appearance.

It's probably too much to hope that he's part of Jack's dun dun DUN Mysterious Past, isn't it?

He's Jack's ex.

As in ex-Time Agent, ex-partner, ex-co-conspirator and ex-lover.

He's also in the final episode, which they finish filming tomorrow.

WOAH.

Most excellent. Where'd you find that out?

[identity profile] crabby-lioness.livejournal.com 2007-11-15 04:21 am (UTC)(link)
Short answer: the Outpost Galifrey Torchwood forum.

Long answer: It came out in press releases and in interviews with the two of them.

And interviews with Chris Chibnall, the Head Writer.

Ah, legitimacy. Makes everything just that much more deliciously tantalizing.

I don't even watch TW and I can hardly wait! I may have to start, if there's this much sex and jackets.

[identity profile] crabby-lioness.livejournal.com 2007-11-15 04:37 am (UTC)(link)
No, it's not usually this much sex.

It's usually MORE sex. :D

Torchwood was specifically created to bring sex to science fiction. All those decades of asexual science fiction serieses got to the creators BIGTIME.

Actual conversation had with sister:

"Oh, you're watching Torchwood? Which episode?"
"Ah, the one with the orgasm alien."
"Yes, but which orgasm alien?"

American Civil War? Maybe?

*gets a bit giddy from the super hotness*

Close. Right time period, wrong continent.

Know what you mean about that hotness!
