Seriously. I'm rewatching a bunch of DW eps that I haven't seen since I first watched them last summer, and I've had "The Impossible Planet" on pause and being ignored for the last hour because I can't stand how smug and mouthy Rose is and how Ten encourages her. I remembered the aggravating shippy nonsense, but I'd forgotten how much they brought out bad behavior in each other. The contrast with Nine and Rose in the S1 eps I've watched in the past few days is astounding. I don't think Nine would like Ten very much as far as his history with companions has gone, and doesn't that bend my brain in half to think about.
