Ah, yeah, but Gwen didn't ask Jack about his sex life when he willingly volunteered that he'd be "doing Ianto", nor did Martha, I would assume, particularly ask Jack "So... who are you fucking?" when Jack volunteered, again, that he'd like Ianto to dress up for him. Which one would assume is pretty much what happened.

To me there's a certain lack of respect coming from Jack, especially given the fact that Ianto is obviously (see the retcon scene in Adam) SMITTEN, and rather unsure of himself when it comes to what would appear to be the first same sex relationship he's been involved in. Looking at Ianto's discomfort in asking Jack to dance, one would almost take that scene as Ianto's coming out to his teammates and the general public. You'd think if that was the case, Jack (because, you know, HOW experienced is Jack compared to the teaboy? Come on.) would have at least been polite and understanding enough to grant the boy and the relationship a bit more privacy than "Pizza, Ianto, saving the world" comments such as the one he came out with a minute before that. It's all just a bit throwaway on Jack's part for me. Do you understand where I'm coming from?
